Summer Beach Maldives - Male

We had a lovely stay at summer beach. the location was perfect, just a short ride from the airport, making our arrival seamless. the breakfast on the rooftop was a highlight, offering a great view and delicious options. the staff were helpful and attentive, and we appreciated the included airport transfers. our room was basic but comfortable for a one-night stay, and it was reassuring that they took good care of our luggage while we were away.

The entire staff were really kind and good. They offered a juice upon arrival. The setting was nice, close to the artificial bridge and road and artificial beach. Easily reached Food Bank Restaurant, located within easy walking distance of the hotel, had lunch/dinner there.

The breakfast was cold, and when I wanted to unwind in the lobby, it was so chilly I couldn't even read my book comfortably. Super frustrating!

Make sure to get double room with decent view.

The complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off options were helpful and convenient. The staff was very polite and cute. I was able to leave one of my bags at the hotel while I went on a liveaboard dive trip for a week. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Had a long wait at check-in due to understaffing.

Location so close to the international airport, the bridge, artificial beach and the ocean, and the artificial beach. Clean rooms with the view and amiable staff. Plenty of food at breakfast like fruit and eggs

The hotel looks recently renovated and modern.

The check-in process was annoyingly slow due to understaffing. My room was not thoroughly cleaned. I found stains on the sheets and stepped on a nail clipping in the bathroom. The dining experience left much to be desired, as service was slow, and one of my meals took over an hour to arrive, with no compensation offered for the inconvenience.

perfect base for exploring male city parks and attractions

The location was fantastic, with easy walking access to local attractions like the National Museum and beautiful Henveiru Park, making my city strolls enjoyable.

great location but noise issues persisted

The location is central. I found the packed breakfast to be very convenient, especially given my early departure. The scenic views of the sea from my room added a lovely touch to my stay.

The breakfast menu was great, with fresh local flavors. I loved enjoying a packed breakfast for my early sea plane ride. Plus, the location is prime for hitting local eats like China Garden and Haws Eatery nearby.

The Smart TV had a mind of its own, connecting with others' devices. They really need to tighten up that control!

I encountered constant noise from the street outside my room, hard to relax. The soundproofing seemed to fail against the loud music from the congress center below. Unless you're keen on tight quarters, I wouldn't recommend the standard rooms as they felt cramped for the price.

The stunning views from the rooftop were a highlight, and the rooftop restaurant served really good meals that enhanced our overall experience.

I loved the fine views, but my room could have been cleaner.
